Why you need to aim high in your business

I had to make an apology video today for some of my team as I learned a valuable lesson in some training I was watching.  I watch training videos just about everyday as I want to be an expert in my field and I heard something that just leaped out of the vidoe and hit me right in the face.

If you aim low its easier to achieve but who wants low results?  Aim high and you may not exactly get to where you want to be but you will be further than if you settle for results.

So why did I need to make the following apology video?  Because I had been telling people to focus on that 1 sale.  An important one if it is their first – but who wants to focus on one sale – focus on building a large business and that first sale will come as a result.

The actions somebody takes to make 1 sale is less than someone looking to make 100!

I think I can sum this blog post up with this great quote –

“Aim for the stars and at least you will reach the moon”
